Mark & Julie Nakao Wedding

On the 17th of November, Brian and Vaughn and I went up to Draper, Utah to see the marriage of our good friend Mark Nakao to his sweetheart Julie. Mark is a wonderful man who has taught us a lot about life! He was hit by a car while serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mark was paralyzed and in a coma due to this accident. I won't go into any details, but we'll just say after many long and arduous months, with his family constantly at his side, Mark was able to walk again! What a miracle! So Mark is of course, quite an inspiration to me and Brian.

Julie and her girls, Shelby and Kaylie, (I hope I spelled those right!) were very excited for their mom. They were also very happy to get Mark as their new dad. Aren't they cute?!?

Here's me, Vaughn and Brian with mark and Julie. I think everyone looks great in this picture except me! What the heck is with my ultra-flat hair?!?! It looks like I buzzed it right down the center, doesn't it? Yikes! PS...Isn't Brian handsome? ANYWAY, after the wedding we were invited to a very nice dinner at a local restaurant (which I didn't get any pictures of). But we had a wonderful time with Mark and Julie and their family.

This of course has nothing to do with the wedding, but I had to add this in. The wedding was later on in the afternoon, so during the morning we just kind of hung out around the house. I was totally in to a Harry Potter book, and Vaughn wanted to cuddle. So we compromised! Vaughn eventually fell asleep on my legs and was AS CUTE AS A BUG IN A RUG! And he warmed me up very nicely. I'm such a lucky mom!
